All Charities Raffle


All Charities Raffle is a way for area groups to raise money for themselves. The Foundation board of directors assembles great prizes and prints the tickets. Your nonprofit sells the tickets for $10 each and earns $8.50 for each ticket sold. The remaining $1.50 goes back to the Foundation to cover costs and help build next year's grant pool.

All area non-profits that include people who live or work in West Sacramento or have West Sacramento residents or businesses as members or receive services can sell tickets.

The 2020 Raffle

Based on input from past participants, we've changed a few things this year:

  • The raffle will start in October and end on December 1. All ticket stubs and unsold tickets must be returned to West Sac Foundation by December 2.

  • Tickets will be mailed to one organizer from each group in early October. Please be realistic about the number of tickets to start with. If you need more tickets as the raffle progresses, we'll arrange contactless pickup.

  • Tickets are in groups of 25, not stapled in books of 10. This allows you to give each of your sellers the number of tickets they think they can sell instead of one book each.

  • The ticket registration form requires that you briefly describe your plan to sell tickets. With many people working and schooling from home we know that ticket selling will be different this year.

  • The drawing will be in early December and will likely be online. We expect to mail checks to organizations.
